… has been set up in Hong Kong to bring focussed technical conferences on specific aspects of the maritime industry to Asia.

Asia is recognised as the current economic engine of the world.

As a consequence, shipping associated activities in this region are increasing daily. Asia has the largest tonnage fleets and the most active ports in the world. This has resulted in a large number of ship owners/operators/managers, P&I Clubs, Classification Societies and other service organisations, including the largest number of marine consultancy and marine surveying companies, offering a wide range of experience and skills to all sectors of the industry.

Too often, maritime conferences, exhibitions and other events lack focus and quality because they are not organised by people who are at shipping's sharp end. Asia Conferences Ltd is about to change this trend and promises to provide maritime professionals with the events they want and need. The people behind Asia Conferences have all been in the maritime business for several decades and being totally independent has allowed us to select recognised marine professionals from all sectors, to act as advisors to the organisers on specific, technical content for all of our conferences. These wil be added to, on a regular basis, as we progress.
